Laboratoire Gibro

Laboratoire Gibro certification is an internal standard developed by PHYTO 5 over the years. It is based on three essential elements: the production environment, the quality of ingredients, and the preservation of the vibrational qualities of the products.

The Environment

PHYTO 5 products are manufactured in the village of Fleurier, Switzerland, in a factory built by PHYTO 5 in 1979. It is the only factory in the world certified to produce our cosmetics.

This laboratory exclusively manufactures PHYTO 5 products and the Ageless La Cure line, which is certified organic by Cosmébio. It is also certified by EcoCert, ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with organic cosmetic standards.

Switzerland has around 20 laboratories capable of producing Swiss Made cosmetics, while there are over 300 brands claiming this origin. In Fleurier, the laboratory is located in a small industrial area called Entre-Deux-Rivières, surrounded by fields, mountains and two rivers. The water used in production is spring water that comes directly from the mountains.

We chose this exceptional environment and remain attached to it. Producing our cosmetics ourselves and conducting EcoCert or ISO 22716 audits each year allows us to stay close to our quality processes and attentive to every essential detail.

The Ingredients

Cosmetics is a complex field. To incorporate natural molecules into formulas, the use of synthetic molecules is sometimes necessary — to ensure preservation, hygiene, solubility or emulsification of the products.

Many brands would like to be 100% natural, but this generally remains impossible. Certifications such as EcoCert and labels such as Cosmébio therefore tolerate a number of synthetic molecules, except in oil-based products such as our Phyt'Ether serums.

At PHYTO 5, the strictly necessary synthetic molecules are used in very small quantities, and over 90% of the ingredients in our formulas are of natural origin. Furthermore, our products contain no animal-derived ingredients and are therefore suitable for vegans.

Our independence as a producer allows us to personally select all our suppliers and raw materials. We personally verify the origin, safety documentation, physicochemical characteristics, and conduct internal tests to assess the quality and safety of each ingredient.

This vibrational quality results not only from rigorous ingredient selection but also from PHYTO 5's exclusive processes, designed to enhance this vibrational dimension.

The natural production environment plays a fundamental role. Being located in a preserved region gives us access to pure spring water. A factory in an industrial zone using purified water without vibration could not offer the same benefits.

Since our body is composed of more than 80% water, it is essential to use cosmetics formulated with high-quality water, to support their vibrational effectiveness on the body.

Swiss Quality

Switzerland applies strict federal, cantonal and European standards. The European regulatory framework is the most stringent in the world, which makes Swiss regulations among the most demanding.

These standards are in place to protect consumers. Producing cosmetics for the general public requires a solid infrastructure. It is not enough to find a formula and choose good ingredients.

The finished product must be safe, stable, effective and compliant. This requires rigorous incident tracking, complete traceability and constant adjustments to compensate for natural ingredient variations.
